I've had my PS2 copy collecting dust for 3 years. I guess I might have to go with the HD version, but only if it retains that visual filter from the PS2 version (which I can't tell if it does) and keeps the original credits of the PS2 version (aka doesn't fuck over Clover Studios).
Possibly the finest game of the last generation. WesFX, I try not to make snap judgements of people based on comments, but.... Well... You are an idiot.

Anyone else notice the sound effects are missing from the trailer... there's no wind or none of that 'whoosh' effect. Other than that, loving this in HD. Can't come fast enough.

I was a little worried about how this would look. Other Capcom HD remakes have been less than impressive.

I like that they decided to kill off the studio that made this game but once they saw popularity in it, decided to try to milk as much cash out of it as they still can.
I don't think it ever achieved the poularity it deserved, especially here in Europe, so I'm alright with this, personally.
@PrinceHeir Watching the SDCC Okami HD stream (http://www.twitch.tv/capcomunity/b/324806872), somewhere in the first few minutes they mention that the PS2 credits are back in. Hopefully that's actually true. :)
I maintain that this is the best-looking game ever made - better than any game this generation - and it's now liable to get even better looking.
