If you listen to Podtoid, and you should, you might remember me recounting my experience with a tornado in a level of Noby Noby Boy. Well, it just happened that during an innocent session with the game tonight, I came across another pair of these whirling death traps, and decided I'd share it with you this time. Hey, it's the weekend, and neither one of us has anything better to do, right?
After the jump, you'll find the horrific display of Noby Noby carnage in question, as two tornadoes violently fling Boy in circles like spaghetti caught in a radiator fan. It's pretty amusing, honestly, and it also serves as a decent example of how infuriating the camera and controls can be in this game, as I try desperately to help Boy eat his own ass in order to restore his poor severed body. The fun starts at about 1:02. Enjoy!
The best part is watching all the nosy NPCs get dragged into the mayhem along with him, and those smart enough to keep their distance being slapped to death with dismembered Boy segments anyway. The force of the tornado stretches Boy to great lengths whether you want it to or not, so it might even be considered a "cheat," or at least an easy way to score lots of length for reporting purposes with minimal effort.
Or you can just watch and giggle like a madman, which is my take on it. Anybody else run into this yet?
