Oh, sure: Peter Dinklage's voiceover in Destiny was actually a 'quick take'

It seems Dinklage is destined for a do-over

Destiny is shaping up to be a wonderful way to be killing time. Get it? An interview with Bungie's COO Pete Parsons reveals even more scintillating details on one of 2014's most highly anticipated games. Every other week or so, it seems. They sure have a lot to say about Destiny.

Firstly, Peter Dinklage's character Ghost's dialog has been updated for the beta and it is still not confirmed whether that will be the final version or not. It has been revealed that the dialog on the alpha was a quick take and is not at all representative of the final product. Thank God. It's horrible and he should be ashamed of himself.

Commemorative Destiny Alpha t-shirts are still for sale for the next 24 hours. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One achievements have also been revealed, which you can see below.

Finally, the Destiny public beta begins for PlayStation 4 users on July 17. Xbox One players will receive the beta very shortly after. The only way to be guaranteed a spot in the public beta is still to pre-order Destiny at a participating retailer. Or wish really hard, I guess.
