It's been almost eight months since I first laid hands on Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, and most of the time inbetween then and now has been spent idly wondering if the game had the power to addict me as completely as the first game did (and then, I got the demo and realized the addiction was going to be much, much worse than the first time).
I'm sure you can imagine, then, that today is a happy day, because I just watched this trailer that made the hairs on my arms stand on end, and as soon as it's lunchtime I'm driving down to GameStop and picking up my copy and spending all night clicking away mindlessly at hex-shaped blocks. Can't wait!

Does it have an online multiplayer function, so I can be defeated in battle by the fair and lovely Colette? 'Cause losing to Colette is actually winning
*embarassing deep swoony sigh*.
Also, just got home with my PC copy, and oh my god this is going to be awesome. But the box for the PC version is the most bland, nondescript thing ever. If I had no idea what this game was, I'd assume that it was shovelware from the case. The manual weighs in at a stunning 4 pages.
Also, apparently it requires the disk to be in the drive to play. Boo. And it didn't want to authenticate my disk twice already. Hm, this is why I usually don't BUY pc games.
In one week's time, I will gladly accept any challenges on multiplayer. I need to get a feel for this game first, though.
Holy crap, I have played this game basically nonstop, with a break for pooping and dinner, since my last post. This is now officially a Puzzle Quest game, when I am already getting mad at how often I have to hack gates open, but I still have to tear myself away from this game. FUCK, this is addicting.
