Oh look, real boxing gloves for Punch-Out! I can't wait! photo

Hey, guys. I have a great idea. It's so great I think it might be borderline genius, in fact. For the new version of Punch-Out coming out for the Wii, let's make some boxing gloves that you can insert the Wiimote and Nunchuk into. It'll be fantastic because every time you punch, the tiny cord connecting the two will pull taut and yank one or the other out of it's holder! Isn't that great?

Jesus.

Anyway, these gloves are made by Everlast and will retail for $30. If you plan to buy them, I hope you have Nyko's wireless nunchuk handy, because otherwise your punches are going to be so mincing and tiny you'll make Glass Joe look like a world champion.

I'm pretty sure I can just buy those "Hulk Smash Hands" and some duct tape, and it will be even more awesomer than those.

It never ends with this shit. Functionality has gone out the window - in this case, it seems to make the game twice as hard to enjoy!

That's both the best and worst thing I've seen all day.

If I ever wanted my experience for Punch Out! to feel any more authentic, I'll cut holes in my own boxing gloves. Not that I would though, that would be f*cking stupid.

Finally, an excuse for my mincing and tiny punching style.

I refuse to buy this until they put out a bike peripheral. Of course, then it would just get stolen.

I'm pretty nervous at the lack of Doc in the screenshots released so far. If there's no Doc, I'm not buying it. He was the soul of the story, like Mr. Miyagi or Mickey in Rocky.

The real use for this is when you lose a match, you don't hurt your friend sitting next to you as much when you strike him in a blind rage.

I'd like this if:

1. They looked like Mac's.
2. They featured an original wireless nunchuck for the fucking sake of it.
3. They also had a poster, I like promo stuff.

Didn't... didn't somebody already do this for a horribly generic put-your-remote-into-these pack to go with Wii Sports?

Damn, and I was hoping that the Wii Punch-Out would use button presses.
