Japanese guy from Level-5 (via translator): Hi, Colette Bennett from Destructoid.com. It is nice to have meeting of you. We were just having the talk over at the office and we were thinking of, if you could have the game of your dreams, what would the dream game of your heart be like?
 
Colette: Oh! Wow ... well, I'd love to see a strong fantasy world set somewhere other than the middle ages. An RPG would be cool, but something really unique. Kind of like an RPG set in a world created by Hayao Miyazaki, you know?
 
Translator: Funny you should mention this thing. How would you think about a DS title in that way with all the artwork by Studio Ghibli?
 
Colette: ... are you joking?
 
Translator: I wonder if we could ask Hisaishi-san to come by and do the music too. Can someone be calling of him?
 
Colette: (falls on floor, hyperventilating)
 
Translator: Are you ok, there, Miss? I wouldn't want you to be missing of Totoro guest cameo. (laughs) I am just joke! There's no Totoro guest cameo. (looks concerned) Can a doctor come to in here?

I thought that art looked familiar! I haven't been interested in an RPG type in a while, now I think I can revive those desires...Good thing I'm planning on the DSi, so I can see my screen and the beauty that is Studio Ghibli

I had my doubts when I heard the Studio Ghibli game was going to be for the DS- don't get me wrong, I love the DS, but it's hardly a system known for its' graphical prowess. I figured it would have scant few pretty cutscenes, but otherwise be pretty standard fare. And while I have yet to report on the gameplay, the in-game art seems to really suit the ghibli animated cutscenes. It's probably the prettiest game I've seen on the DS. So yeah, I'm excited.
