It's just going to be another single player campaign that is merely passable, and an expansion pack of multiplayer maps, which is mysteriously well prepared to be compatible with overpriced map packs for 15 dollars.

I'm casually optimistic to another Halo. I mean, the trilogy (+odst and reach) are amazing, but what can they do to make this Halo '5' different from other preddosessors?

First game was awesome, second game was boring, third game was dull and extremely un-special, ODST was great (one of my favorites) and Reach was Good. Not, great, just good. Summary of the series: 6/10

@Gaiden: I agree with all of that, except for the fact that Halo 2 had cock-shattering multiplayer, and was way ahead of its time.
Also, giving the series a 6/10? Every time you're playing a shooter, you're playing something that was influenced by Halo: CE. Every time you play online, you're playing something that was influenced by Halo 2. That deserves more.

When on the debate about Halo being milked it should be mentioned how much stuff there is involving it. I'm looking through Amazon and I see tons of toys, books and even a board game. In the end though, as long as the games are good who cares if it's milked or not?

Then again, I'd prefer experimental and good over both those things, but sticking with a good quality, very popular game? Money in the bank for Microsoft. People are gonna have to realise that no matter how much they whine, series like Halo and CoD are bankable as hell, so they will keep being made. And hopefull they'll keep being good. Well, for rabid Halo fans, we know that Bungie is probably not working on the next Halo game, so we are not necessarily foaming at the mouth for the next game in the series.

Why don't they come up with something new and exciting instead? Halo would be a perfect franchise to ressurect when the 4th gen comes along. Imagine Master Chief back with a vengeance after his year long cryo-sleep somewhere deep in space. It would be refreshing. Even something as solid as Halo gets old after a while you know?
