     PS3

Here's the story:

The firmware version 2.0 for the PlayStation 3 that we told you about earlier is now live. So if you have a PS3, now might be a good time to go update it. To the new firmware. Version 2.0.

It's full of fancy new features, haven't you heard?

@Video_Cognito: Yeah, it is. But it doesn’t come with the v2.00 update; only the “Air Paint” one does. I’m presuming that they’re going to charge for the damn things on the PSN, and that kind of nickeling-and-dimeing pisses me off.

And the “Information Board” is just a nuisance. I mean, it has potential, but right now, it’s just like a damn billboard on my XMB. It has five announcements on it right now: the first one says “Welcome to the Information Board”, and the rest are essentially advertisements: Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, the PlayStation Eye, the new Star Wars Battlefront edition of the PSP, and Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. They better use this for something other than this crap.

The psp themes have been free so far so I doubt they'd charge for the ps3 ones. They'll probably release them every now and then for free like the wallpapers.

@decoyb: Well, alright then. I’m glad to hear it.

That theme is gorgeous, but I own a 360 so... oh well.

Anyone know when the xbox live update comes? Not that I expect greatness//
