Game still needs a ton of work, the matchmaking is still broken with nothing pubstomps everywhere, some glitches still abound and the tank needs some work, despite this the cash shop is in full swing.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone right now.

Word of caution, however: If you're new to MOBAs (as I was), expect a rather steep learning curve. The payoff is tremendous, though.

don't be misleading. This game's learning curve is very low, like LOL or something. It is pretty casual overall and nothing complex like DOTA. The games are also very short, so if you get beaten hard, it won't drag on like some games can.

I'm kind of surprised they decided to release it already. I definitely felt Uber had a lot more work to do before bringing it out of beta, but I guess that's what patches are for?

The game doesn't have much of a learning curve if you aren't an idiot. Unfortunately a lot of people are idiots, and can't grasp the fundamentals of the game (kill bots, don't overextend, pick up coins, don't fuck with pros that out-level you unless you know what you're doing). Also, new players blatantly disregard the new player guide, as well as the amazing guide on how not to be completely retarded that is on the forum. They think "oh I can learn the game by playing it" and then I end up with four scrubs on my team.

Wish I could get involved in this, I loved MNC on the 360, easily my most played Arcade game. Heres hoping this drops there too... Oh well, Awesomenauts in two weeks, and that'll fill the hole!
Regular MNC was quite decent on steam but I always expect the worst when it comes to free to play and really I hardly ever play free2play games, even dropped tf2 after it became free2play mainly due to the user base being significantly worse after it went free mostly the age went down a lot.
After clocking 260 hours, it gets a "realise". New people who don't read the rules and understand the basics of this game will be a problem but more people to play with is definetly a good thing.

I get the message "You need to be logged into Steam and in online mode in order to play this game." when I try to launch the game from Steam. What is this :(
My recommendation is, you don't listen to Kyousuke Nanbu recommendation. The Match making is a little broken at this point, but it's still a very fun game. I have over 100 hours in it. I haven't played much of late "life and all" but fun fun fun.
1 of the worst games I've ever played. mnc was frantic and fun and this is such a bore. they shouldn't have taken out turrets and the maps are bland. I expected so much more. this will flop for many reasons which is a shame because I love mnc and really want another mnc that plays like mnc classic on 360. most of the pros don't fit the game and there just isn't enough to do in game to make it a mass hit.
Game runs like a dog for me. No idea why (as a gauge of my rig I run Witcher 2 with everything max but without ubersampling). And I'm not being picky about performance either I'm talking MNC is running literally 5-10 fps with settings on low.
I really liked the first MNC so I hope this improves quickly and builds a good community.
