OFLC rates Ubisoft's Ghost Recon Predator and Rabbids Lab photo

Yesterday, the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification rated the mostly-unannounced Ubisoft title, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Predator for a multiplatform release.

While not much is known about the title, one can assume it's the latest in the series of Ghost Recon title games that is assumed to be released in 2010. In a financial report earlier this year, Ubisoft execs referred to the title only as Ghost Recon 4. This possible title could reveal some clues as to gameplay, setting, or story... but we doubt it has anything to do with Arnold Schwarzenegger or Danny Glover. Which is upsetting.

Another Ubisoft title has also be outted -- Rabbids Lab. We're going to go out on a limb here and guess that yet another Rabbids title is in the works. This time, in a laboratory. What's up, Ubisoft? Have you truly forgotten about Rayman?

If I had to fathom a guess, I'd say it's the region's name for Rabbids Go Home, or at least the DS game that looks more lab-y.

If that's another Rabbids game, I'm going to rage.

I'm pretty sure Ubisoft said Rabbids Go Home would be the last Rabbids game for at least a good while...

Woohoo! I love myself some Ghost Recon. Advanced Warfighter 1&2 are some of my favorite tactical shooters, ever.

Ghost Recon is light years better than Rainzbozz Zix. This is good news, my favorite tactical shooter game. More Sniper missions!

The thing is, the way gameplay takes place in Ghost Recon seems like it would be drastically altered by adding the Predator. Ghost Recon is all about stealth, and patience, and planning. All that would go to shit in two seconds when you were being attacked by something with heat vision and invisibility and lasers. It's kind of a neat idea, but it doesn't seem like it would work very well.

They still haven't announced the Ubi game I really want to see: Ghost Recon Rabbids. If you really think about it, you'll want it too.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I want to play Ghost Recon against the predator, with the final mission being titled GET TO THE CHOPPA, where one of my teammates just incessantly shouts "DO IT NOW!"

Oh hey Ubisoft

Where my fuck is my Rayman platformer? This 'Raving Rabbids' bullshit got old when the first one came out. Then the second one. Then the third one. Soon, the fourth one. And now we've got this one to look forward to, too.

Oh well. This doesn't change anything, I guess.

...Ubisoft...

Did no one at Ubi Soft get the memo that Tom Clancy is dead? I see no reason why not to include his names on products he had influence on, but his name and the Predator license? Leave the man out of it, he's probably already rolling in his grave.
