But nope, Nintendo's gotta Nintendo.
Still debating whether or not to pick one up. Thinkin' about it though!
Considering the high price point and the fact there isn't really anything I want to play when the system launches, I believe it will be at least a year until I pick one up.
Still, I will pass. I'm honestly not even sure if I'll buy a console this generation. My PS3s (yeah I have two of them) and my Wii basically just collect dust. I'm 95% PC gamer now, and I just need to accept that.
New SMB is fun but not a system seller and I'm not a fan of mini- game collections.
this is, like, the cheapest console release ever
Over here, the GC was £130 at launch and had a better line-up for me personally. That will never be beaten.

The core 360 launched at 300, though the premium was 400, not 350. The Wii launched at 250, and both the GameCube and the N64 launched at 200.
Hardly the cheapest console ever.
Still, besides the capability for a price drop, I don't think a direct comparison with the 3DS is really fair. Consoles and handhelds have different pricing structures.
Also, if I hear one more person bitch about the 8GB flash memory when you can plug in almost any storage unit you want...
Nah, not this time. The 3DS burnt me bad enough, thanks.
I may or may not get one at launch , but that price is VERY reasonable.
Speaking of the box, its hideous.
...but please, Nintendo, remember that dollars and euros aren't the same thing :(
