Back in 1993, a strategy guide for the recently released Kirby's Adventure appeared in Japan. Inside, three of the big men responsible for the new game decided to sketch the little pink puffball. There's contributions by Masahiro Sakurai, the father of the Kirby series; Shigeru Miyamoto, Nintendo's whiz kid; and Satoru Iwata, back when he was the president of HAL Laboratory. It's adorable to see the masters take a crack at doodling such a loveable character. It's also worthy to note that Iwata's doodle looks like sh*t. Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)Sakurai's drawing looks like the 16bits Kirby (I love those fat stars!), while Miyamoto's is like the cover art for the early Kirby games. Iwata's Kirby is usual programmer art. Wow, Sakurai looks really different here. I was able to recognize Iwata and Miyamoto but not him.
