Notice the quote in the image directly above? Yep, Freddy Krueger actually dropped that line in the movie Freddy's Dead. I'll have you know I've been waiting all year for an excuse to get a quote from that glorious movie onto Destructoid, and this was the perfect opportunity.
Earlier today, Bethesda Softworks released the Garden of Eden Creation Kit, Fallout 3's official editor. As with every other big-name title that has mod creation tools, I fully expect to see you guys come up with all sorts of crazy, disturbing, and even hilarious quests while I sit on my ass and mash on this keyboard.
Intrigued by the G.E.C.K.? You should be. The toolkit can be downloaded here, while the official Wiki and instructional videos reside right here and over there.
While we wait for Bethesda to finish up that promising DLC, what would your dream quest and/or mod for Fallout 3 be? Super Mutant Behemoth deathmatches? Forty frag mines and an old man? You tell us!

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Chinese Officer Sword, Knife, Combat Knife, etc...
When Spencer gets sucked in, it reminds me of that ridiculous Nickelodeon video game themed game show where the final test is "Being in a game"
I just want to add that you just helped me title my final paper for my Media Literacy class which is on DRM.
"Who's Playing With Power Now?"
Thanks again.
Just a half-year-fucking later. (Literally: six months of Sony spatially summating us.)
Yeah, the PS3 got The Shivering Isles, and BioShock, and it's own proper network (hopefully). And yeah it'll eventually get some of this Fallout 3 content (as well as Star Ocean 4, if I might digress a bit), but do the suits at Sony even make a damn effort?
I've owned a 60 gig model since the Christmas it came out. Blu-ray won; that's dandy. I loved Metal Gear and Heavenly Sword and Resistance and whatever else we alone were offered -- and I've never had a single problem with the hardware -- but this is frigging ridiculous. If development is so effing tough, make a dumbed-down toolkit, because right now it's a port machine (another tangent: FU, Square-Enix), and evidently one that takes six frigging months to muster up the guff to work with. And if you already own a distribution network (for movies), get it work with more than Warhawk, and make it more worthwhile for developers. You'd think we were still using the PS2 dial-up plugin.
Playing RTS games and Morrowind mods on PC is starting to remind me why, for all its conveniences, the console bullshit gets old in a hurry.
@Dimly - Really? That's awesome!
It'd be awesome to use this mod and the perk where you can insta-kill sleeping characters.
YYYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! :-)
STFUAJPG. Seriously, every one of your blogs contains something hating on Fallout 3. Get the fuck over it, you twat muffin.
Anyway; gettin' this on PC. 'nuff said.
So you're saying it isn't a game? What is it, then? When I play Fallout 3, I'm not playing a video game?
Interesting.
