Processor: i5 sandy bridge CPU

Hard Drive: 3+ TB

I'm all set to go ;D even though i don't like war games that much i want to play it!
C2Q Q6600 @ 3.0Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
GTX 470 @ 800/1800 (1280MB RAM)
Bad Company 2 still doesn't run that great on my machine, and I think it's because it has poor coding for CPU utilization. When it was first released, it barely used 2 cores and used less than 50% of my GPU. But they eventually made it more efficient. I hope that BF3 doesn't suffer from this initial problem...
I'm in 20 years they might have a computer that can do such a thing.
"Fuck you." Uh, you first, dude. My trade requires me to move around a lot, so I chose a laptop instead of a desktop. You can learn to live with it.
do you whine when a game that has nothing to do with valve forces you to have a steam account/install steam? probably not,get off that annoying bus already.
dont be a douche because someone has a good job and can afford a nice laptop. its not like he was bragging. but i am :D I started building my desktop PC earlier this year for this season.
i5-2500K @ 4.5ghz
8gb 1600mhz DDR3 RAM
120g vertex 2 SSD
X2 AMD 6970 GPUs in crossfire with a combined 4gb video memory all under water in a dual loop WC system (one loop just for CPU and mobo, and one loop just for dual GPUs)
and everything is packed into a customized Corsair 800D tower
I am hoping that by the time skyrim comes out i will have my third 27in monitor for 3-way eyefinity
i would image that there will be a way to block origin from collecting that data. if it collects the data from a certian ip address, you could just block that ip, i know that steam uses several different ip address when it is connected to your pc. dont know what they all do but i see them in peerblock. or you could configure your system to dual boot. two copies of windows on one pc, one copy is your regular build, and the other is just origin, bf3 and the drivers you need.
@Humtuk: That's actually a good idea lol. Now why haven't I thought of this?
Who said I was ever a fan of Steam? Steam is DRM just like everything else -- Worse than other forms, if you want to really look at it.
There's an old saying about assuming. Perhaps you should look it up.
AMD Vision A8 @ 1.5Ghz
6Gb RAM
AMD HD 6620G (Apparently equivalent to an AMD 5650?)
I think I'll download the beta and test it before I commit to the 360 version, just in case.

should be better since that was alpha
But honestly, I'm not terribly interested in the game. If there's a demo I'll check it out just to see how it runs, but that's about it...
Well, there's the beta, so that should give you a good idea. I hope there's an actual demo, too, though.
A computer
A Table
Some snacks
A Chair
A distane for the Call of Duty series based on its popularity
Some rope
A person you met online while bitching about COD who you made friends with on this sole connection
A sturdy roof beam
An internet connection that is stable but not quite fast enough not to bomb the entire server for everyone else
Tie the rope to the beam
A growing sense of self loathing as you begin to realise that the battlefield series is much harder than you anticipated
Stand on the chair
A realisation that although Call of Duty represents a mainstream meritocracy you despise, in truth you miss your real friends and feel cut off from them having openly bitched about Call of Duty so vehemently you now can't go back
Kick the chair away
Slip into blackness as the pain of having realised caring too much about video games has destroyed your social life and those closest to you, making your wife divorce you due to an unhealthy obsession and destroying any connection to reality that could have saved you
Origin Software
Do you have a AM3 board? If so, I would wait for Zambezi/Bulldozer, it's supposed to come out this month.
