Ode to Joy: Peggle making it to PS3 this week photo

PopCap's plan to bring the utterly delightful Peggle to every conceivable platform is coming to fruition. This week, the PlayStation 3 version comes out of hiding.

On Thursday, PlayStation Network users will find the game alongside Peggle Nights as a paid add-on. Last we heard, this downlodable content had a planned fall release for Xbox LIVE Arcade, which leads me to believe Xbox 360 owners will get the new content relatively soon too.

As an added bonus for both Peggle and Peggle Nights on PS3, a new feature allows players to upload their replays to YouTube directly from the game. Watching people get extremely lucky in Peggle has become somewhat of a hobby for me, so this sounds like a good deal.

No full HD graphics, no buy. Not that I'm a graphics whore for these kind of games, but if they just shell out a several years old game at the same asking price as the launch price years ago - without even taking their time to make some things better, they don't deserve my money (that's why I didn't buy Zuma, even tho I like that game, same for bejewelled, it has god damn diamond shapes, should take a month at max to get the assets in HD, no?!! Nobody should buy their games if they continuously try to get away with this crap)

Shit! Don't tell my Mrs. I'll never get to play Modern Warfare 2 again!

"But i want to play Peggle!" - unless, PSP compatability? That would be a fucking Godsend! - "Here you go love, peggle in your hands!" (Now leave me alone to play MW2!)

Please please please be PSP compat. please!

@Emrah I agree. My wife and I also passed on Zuma and Bejeweled because they looked like mobile phone versions on my HD television. I'm really, really hoping that these Peggles are in HD.

The Ode of Joy makes the game unnecessarily more epic than it should be.

@GamesAreArt:
Way to misquote, buddy.. If not already, you should be working for a tabloid newspaper!

@Clinth: Indeed.. Not only that, but also their asking price is more than Critter Crunch, and we should all know who we should be supporting..

Geez, let's get our facts straight..!

The games are in fact in HD. Each is priced at significantly less than the PC versions of each respective game, yet each contains all the stuff in the PC version and then some.

Oh, and Peggle is the greatest thing since sliced Tetris, did I mention that?
