I'm loving all the haters crying the new characters and their whole why isn't *insert overplayed generic character here* in this. The crazier this game gets the better not is M.O.D.O.K. straight up awesome but he's also murdering all of those fake character lists for good, nobody saw this coming. Can not wait until spring 2011

I'm always a fan of unconventional characters in games, your right though, thank goodness he showed up to shut down all those lists... However I'm still not a fan, wasn't a fan when he was merely Marvel property.. Not a fan now.

I don't like Magneto talking like Mr. Harriman thank you very much! I think that's one of the few issues I have so far with the game. Some of the voice acting seems off the mark a bit. I still fantasize about Green Goblin...oh yeah...you heard me right.
Is that Warden Quincy Sharpe as Magneto? Sweet.
That last video was nuts, I'm really liking the look of Spencer and Wesker. Anyone else get the feeling that MODOK might be like Bowser in Smash Bros Brawl? Tough to use effectively but dangerous in the right hands? Either way, loving the roster so far!

Hmm... I've never played a Marvel vs. Capcom game, but I might just have to give this one a try. I really love the graphics... and the Bonnes.
MODOK and Magneto are my favorite Marvel characters ever, so I'm pretty much very very happy. These gameplay vids of them are freakin' fantastic! :D
Also: Never played Ghosts n' Goblins, but Arthur looks amazing as well. Loved his video and the gameplay video shown in this post.
Also also: Isn't it weird how this time around they unveiled two capcom-guys together then two Marvel guys? Usually it's one capcom and one Marvel.

Glad they're mixing up the characters for this game so much, and pulling out so many awesome obscure and unexpected characters.
I mean...Arthur, with all his weapons, and armour falling off. Badass.

MODOK. I saw the name and was like "Wait...is that..." and it was. The fat head. I would have never, ever have expected to see him in anything like this.
This just keeps getting better.
Now if only I wasn't watching good players strip off 50% of one characters health in one combo, thus reaffirming something I've never liked about MvC being back in this game...oh well, at least 50% of one character's HP is only 16% of your TEAM'S HP, so really it's not that big a deal. It just doesn't feel like it to me. ;)

Ehh... I don't really like Magento's voice here, he sounds like some cheesy villian. My favorite voice I remember was his XMen Evolutions' voice, it was dark and had a sense of power too it. I'll get over his voice eventually though.
Wow, I must have missed this is the video they posted for Rad Spencer, but I just noticed his bionic arm switches arms depending on which direction he's facing. never thought Capcom would pull the ol' sprite-flip technique in this game.

2. I couldn't care less about Bionic Commando unless he has the classic look as an alt costume.
3. M.O.D.O.K. is definitely and oddball of a choice. However, I love the defensive playstyle he has, it's a real change of pace from the emphasis on rushing in and massive offence.

5. Spiderman plays just as I remember. My friends will cry when they know this.
6. I'm still a bit sad that Jill isn't in the game, and with 2 Res. Evil characters already in, it's unlikely. However, I'm ok with what they've done in terms of Wesker and Chris.

i am slow, but this is the first time I see a confirmation of every character having it's own main theme when hitting on stage liek the original MvC. I love that detail so much.

Looking forward to playing as Arthur and Magneto I'll probably warm to the other two in time....always wanted to see Bishop or Mr Sinister in one of these games but there's already a strong X-Men presence so it's doubtful, still hope Gambit will make it though.
I'm so fucking glad those shots of MODOK were for real. MODOK is amazing, from his tiny T-Rex hands to his floaty chair and giant glompy mouth.

Gonna be honest, MODOK doesn't appeal. He looks kind of stupid and none of his attacks seem like things he'd actually be able to do (even the head laser). Not sure why Magneto has all those energy-projecting powers, but everybody does in this game, so whatever.
On the other hand, Spencer and Arthur look pretty sick. Arthur is amusing in his modernised retroness and his lance attacks seem interesting. Love the inclusion of boxer shorts. Spencer appears to play like Hazama from BlazBlue but without the air of patheticness; he's more than capable of beating some face with his robot arm. I think he's the kind of character I could have a lot of fun with.

Looking forward to Dormammu, Deadpool, Dante and now Spencer the most, I think.
