Wanna see something slightly embarrassing? Check out our own Nick Chester (along with former Dtoider and now Sony boy Rey Gutierrez and some attractive dancers) playing upcoming PS3 game Singstar Dance. This game works the PlayStation Move controller into the standard Singstar formula for singing and dancing. And bad Pop. I think the combination of the iffy singing, dancers and the Backstreet Boys song selection works for this video, though.

This...happening went down at an offsite PlayStation event Sony held in New York, timed to go alongside Comic-Con. What you couldn't see outside the shot during this performances was the many onlookers, comprised of other press members and PlayStation PR. Their faces ranged from slightly amused to slightly annoyed. I would have instead gone with N*Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye" for full effect to get those faces really moving in one direction or another.

me and the gang went through a singstar/guitarhero phase like, 3 years ago now. i'm so glad i didn't have any spare money to piss away at the time, or i'd have so many plastic music peripherals cluttering my space.
I play with my husband and we're both AWFUL singers so we never sing at the same time (we throw each other off and are scared we'll break some kind of time/space continuim if we're both badly off key at the same time!)... so now I'll be able to do the dance thing while he sings... and then he can sit on the couch and move the controller around pretending to do the dance thing while I sing! :)
The guys did great! Much better singers than me and my husband!
... besides they got that Gloria Gaynor tune (I will Survive) and I can relive my disco years of the late 70's!
Anyway, Nick Chester, why you so fancy?

Also, Kinda want to play this game if it allowed me to sing and dance at the same time via headset mic. If so, I'd buy a PS3 + Move.
