The seriously talented crafty gamer types are out there, as our faithful community member Welkstar has proven with his mad skills (not to mention all the other incredible artists the Dtoid community is lucky to feature). If you happen to be one of these, you just might be interested in this new how-to feature over at Instructables that shows you how to build your own Atari-inspired table lamp.
The artist created the base using fiberboard and decorated his lampshade with pics from atariage.com. I have to say that while I am not sure I would feature a piece like this anywhere but in my gaming room, it is still a hell of a cool idea (not to mention a conversation piece).

I know, I know, I need to finish this dang thing, I've been slackin. I'm actually going to be putting some work into the Retroforce this weekend (yay MLK Day!). I feel so guilty leaving it unfinished!
