Honestly not expecting anything that great. I don't see Notch as some messiah to indie gaming or anything, to be honest I think he just got lucky with minecraft. I seriously doubt he'll be able to pull it off a second time.
Not to say I'd love to be wrong, but the guy has made a lot of mediocre at best flash games, minecraft being pretty much the only one that stood out.

That is always a possibility but I'm going to have to wait and see what this next game is like before I weigh in. Do have to admit that I'm not quite feeling the same magic with what I have heard about this game. Then again I pushed off looking into minecraft for well over a year after it was a "thing" on the internet during its alpha stages.

Trailer would have been better if it was just a blank space (SPAAAAAAACE) with the voice over that didn't really make any sense.

I think a lot of people aren't going to be able to get into this. From what I've heard you'll have to do some real programming with the emulated computers, not some minigame or whatever. I'm betting those that CAN get into it will have a hell of a lot of fun with it. Cult game incoming.
New release thing is very nice to have. But we need to consider the price first.
