Not enough time! PAX Prime's schedule and exhibitor list
As expected, there's a ridiculous amount of panels planned for PAX Prime 2010 and all of the usual companies have a presence at the show. Basically, you'll need mad planning skills and an army of clones to see everything that's even mildly worth checking out. First, the full schedule. Notice how even though you're scrolling furiously, the page continues to go on and on almost endlessly. Now, take a look at the exhibitor list/exhibition floor map, viewable here in .pdf form. Study it well! The kind folks who put PAX together would also like to remind us that passes are almost gone. As it stands, only one-day passes for Sunday are still up for grabs. Even if you can't get into the actual show, hugs will be given, and good times will be had. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)I'd like to go meet up with the LoadingReadyRun guys. They're genuinely funny. Definitely hitting up their panel, anyway. I took the schedule and converted it into an epub book that I can view offline on my IPad through Ibooks... just tweaking it now, but if I highlight the events I want, they appear on my bookmarks list and I can also use IBooks function to add notes (questions, notes regarding location, etc). Still playing with it, but really... why hasn't some one made an app to do a personal schedule yet??
I thought there was an app for everything! Oh wow, they expanded the show floor into the old LAN party room it looks like too. Seems like they've done a lot of restructuring this year to give the thing some room to breath, good shit. Today in the mail I got my 3-day PAX badge, the Dtoid shirt I ordered last week, and a note from the Census Bureau telling me I don't work for them anymore...COINCIDENCE?
