Not bad at all! A Realm Reborn running on Surface at TGS

This has me thinking...

Check out this short clip I filmed at Tokyo Game Show. It comes from a small area of Microsoft's booth where they're showing some popular games running on Surface units. While it's not exactly smooth, I'm surprised at how well this Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn benchmark looks on Surface.

At 1280 x 720 this looks to be coming in at a decent rate. The quality looks to be running at mid-level, so I'd guess that it would be smooth at a lower one. Either way, this looks playable. More importantly, it looks extremely portable.

I am intrigued by this display. As a fan of A Realm Reborn and a Surface owner, I feel like I've stumbled onto some magical recipe that will change my life. Look for a full test of this when I return from Tokyo Game Show.
