@Ioncat, the first time Smoke made an appearance was in MKII, where he was human. MK3 was when he was first playable, but it was as a cyborg.

Those were all (or at least most) pre-order bonuses, so it's understandable that they'd charge for them, seeing as it's kind of shitty to release pre-order incentives for free.

as for this game it can be competitive at times but tekken is much more harder to master than this. spacing, sidestepping, throws and all, with Tekken Tag 2 coming out with the new system. i don't think anyone can pick up and play and become a pro out of a sudden.

tekken is the king. most new fight games suck sf4 mvc3 look and play like ass. mk was never good.

As for requests, I want an alt. character skin for Kung Lao that doesn't look dumb! Considering that he's a practitioner of wing chun, how about an Ip Man outfit? His regular skin its pretty cool, though.
I love Tekken, but c'mon no one can actually believe it's harder to master or more hardcore than Virtua Fighter or even high level Street Fighter play.

It's easier to master, eh? So you can react to which arm the other character is extending and press 1, 2 or 1+2 accordingly to break it? You can also judge how close to the corner you are and know whether your wall carry will end in a wall splatter?

Ah,that's just what I was counting on after the announcement of psychic Cheat Fighter Kenshi,a brand new wave of krusty old 'Klassic Kostumes'.
Next, I want to see klassic Sonya (any leotard from the first three games would be fine) and...Raiden, I guess? The other characters, especially the bosses, didn't wear much in the way of costumes at all to begin with.
Would Goro or Shao Kahn wear slightly different underpants or loincloths? Johnny Cage's pants might have the racing stripe in another spot? Liu Kang's bandanna would be some other length?
Also, Mortal Kombat could use a patch for the latest patch. The current one froze up my PS3 thrice in a row now.

I'm talking combos, chief. And Tekken forgoes finishers, which are another aspect. I've been playing both series since they were christened in the arcades.

The Tekken franchise sells so poorly at this point that they are going to do something drastic to garner more fans.

Mortal kombat if fuckin cool as shit and deserves all the sweet ass credit its getting but lets face it when it comes to true fighting games its all about virtua fighter cuz onlyr eal fighting champs can master the combos in that game! Try it i dare you! But tekken is probably one of the most fun games out there and i dare anyone of you to try me on xbox ps3 or psp jst sayin;)
Smoke looks amazing here. Almost as good as klassic Cyrax. The MK1 inspired kostumes look the best though. All the new designs look like there is too much going on
