Nokori: Soundtracks galore tonight! photo

That caught your attention, didn't it? Maybe I should use it for the header for Nokori from now on, just so you guys all know to pay attention. Let's get into this then, shall we?

First up is this past week's ranking charts. Once again, Rhythm Tengoku Gold has maintained the #1 position, selling a total of 668,000 copies. Impressive! Number two is taken by Wii Fit, with Blue Dragon Plus, Afrika, and J-League Winning 11 2008 taking slots three, four, and five, respectively.

Next we've got a bit about a keitai novel getting enough popularity and becoming a Nintendo DS game. From what I understand, the game, Red String, will be supervised by the original author, but the game will be a choose your own adventure novel, so you can end up having different endings than the original story. Certainly seems like an interesting twist to me, and might do well here in the U.S. The game will be done by Alchemist.

For all of you who were excited about the Rhythm Tengoku Gold soundtrack, you might be excited about the Infinite Undiscovery soundtrack coming out. Square Enix just announced that all 78 tracks that made up the game's music will be on sale for 3,000 yen on October 8th. Not too shabby, I have to say. If not, there's always the arranged album of music for Valkyrie Profile on the DS.

Next up, Famitsu has a follow up to the news that Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou is being completely changed. They show us several screens from the game, and explain in fuller detail one of them. You can basically play Rock, Papper, Scissors, "Look that way," and a few other kid's games with the Haruhi girls. I'm sorry Japan, but no. Stop this foolishness.

Oh hell yes. Train Certification comes out next month. I just can't wait. In fact, I don't have to! They're putting a flash version of the game up on Spike's website in order to tease us into buying the game when it comes out.

And that's about it for tonight's iteration of Nokori. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
