Yea! With so many other games to play on the Wii, its AMAZING that it sold sold well with so much competition from third party developers.
I'm not surprised it isn't selling more than Halo3 to be honest, especially considering that over half of 360 owners will add it to their collection if they haven't already - it was a primary selling point for the console a year before it was release.
I'm guessing Mario Galaxy won't gain the same attach rate because of the range of gamers that own the console, with a large portion of them being focused on "social" games.

Still, is this/was/when/how/whaevva considering them pre-orders? And did we find out if the sucky Jp-mario sales did suck or not?
I tried to pick it up at Toys R Us because of the Buy 2 Get 1 free sale but they were sold out despite having an enormous rack dedicated solely to this game. It made me sad.
