No, seriously: 2K Marin is looking for a PS3 designer for BioShock 2 photo

Maybe. It seemed like this hard-to-kill topic continuously came up until 2K officially killed it. Now it may be true for BioShock's sequel.

A recent job advertisement from 2K Marin asks for a senior designer on BioShock 2, and they specifically request Playstation3 experience in the listed requirements.

Experience working with recent generation game console technology (Xbox, Xbox360, PlayStation2 or PlayStation3) and Playstation3 experience is required.

We'll agree with Videogamer that this job ad is far from a BioShock 2 PS3 confirmation, but it definitely lets us know what the company is considering.

And, while we're drawing conclusions, the same ad requests "Unreal Engine 3 experience." Hmmm.

What do you think? Will the rumors actually pan out with this sequel?

I'd rather see them put the original on PS3, even though I'm playing it on PC.

I've come to accept that there's going to be a BioShock sequel at this point, but I'm going to reserve any judgment until there are real details out there.

@AMARU

I prefer the Dualshock over the x360's controller any day, especially for FPS games. It feels more natural to me. Why not make Bioshock 2 on the system that has the greatest controller ever created?

I hope it does make it to the PStriple! I'm tired of fanboys knock'n it, just cause they can't play it.

Can't wait for EA to "buy" Take 2 and release the original Bioshock on PS3 when Bioshock 2 comes out.

They can even make it a pack out of it.

Bioshock on the SNES? thats highly unlikely.

But all kidding aside I prefer the 360 controller over the PS3 controller for shooters. The controller feels like it was made for shooters.

Bought the first one for PC.

I don't see why I would buy a console version of the game.

Unless, they add mouse and keyboard support for the PS3 version anyways.

Eh, as long as it still comes out on 360, I'll be fine. Let more people enjoy the game if they can. Also, [insert obligatory comment about how there doesn't need to be a sequel].
