having never owned an MP3 player, i decided to splurge on an iPhone a couple of months ago and i thought i'd look into this "Podcast" thing all of the kids on the interwebs are talking about. i subscribed to about 20 assorted gaming and comic book (my other obsession) podcasts and upon listening to my very first episode of Retroforce i was hooked.

i have to say that you guys produce the -and i don't use this phrase as loosely as Chad- BEST PODCAST EVER!!! it's like i stumbled on an yard sale that gives you a free baby dolphin with every purchase of 3 Dreamcast games. i guess i was prompted to cast this +5 Wall of Text because i'm genuinely disappointed that i'm not listening to a new Retroforce today and when i realized that i thought i'd take the opportunity to tell you guys what a good job you're doing.

oh, and thanks to Topher, i'm steadily developing a newfound appreciation for Shmups. i picked up Castle Shikigami 2 (PS2) the other week (hilarious engrish btw) and i've also been playing R-Type 1, 2, and Final, Nanostray, Silpheed (PS2), and i bought Ikaruga for XBLA. i'm also playing Phantasy Star IV, my first Phantasy Star game, on PSP (via the awesome Sega Genesis Collection) but i accidentally overwrote my save with 10+ hours on it. suck.

anyway, thanks for re-igniting the Retro gaming flame within my soul and keep up the great work.

ps- if you ever skip out on an episode again i'll kill you all in your sleep and hide your skulls in a Halo game.g
