Activision is really stuck on this "Biggest Music Event of the Year" thing when it comes to Band Hero

Not everyone would agree, with all of the other big music events that have happened this year. The passing of the King of Pop, The Beatles: Rock Band... Little Wayne working with Weezer. Big year for music, folks. But maybe, just maybe Activision is on to something.

Why? Because, like I said before, Styx "Mr. Roboto" is playable in Band Hero. Don't believe me, up there is the video proof. If you don't sing along, check your pulse. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go pick up my copy of Band Hero.

Too easy.
Too colourful.
CASUALS.
Crap music.
Crap likenesses.
Crap graphics.

There, there's some thoughts about the game. Pick and choose them as you please.

There's no such thing as playable characters in these games.

If only it was a game worth buying, and not an Activision cash-in.

(That probably won't sell)

If Band Hero used the tagline "Better than Michael Jackson's death" in its advertising, it would be a first day buy from me, guaranteed.

Heh when I read that I wasn't even thinking of the song, I assumed he meant that the dtoid robot was going to be a character that you could select. Ha.

More like Guitar Hero: If We Throw Enough Pop And Pink Menus Girls Might Buy Our Game Edition

That said I'm shamelessly renting it.

Nope. Sorry. Rock Band sells me DLC. I prefer that platform over buying a new damn game every year. That said, I'd buy a Rock Band 3 over this, simply because I'd bet I'd be able to export my music between titles.

Lego Rock band came out today and is 49.99. I picked it up along with Dragon age. I'd be playing that right now if my kid wasn't.

I'd actually rather play this over GH5 since there's more songs here I recognize. Then again I hate most if not all music games...still Mr Robot IS awesome...(but they had me at David Bowie Let's Dance)

whatever I'll snag a free copy anyway.
