they provided a decent online system (let's hope) for other games
that doesn't mean i didn't want it of course.
I'll just force people to play some local with me, works every time.
although I appreciate couch coop and split screen a lot, they are just being cheap again.
maybe they really couldn't get it to work but... seems like such a missed opportunity, not exactly like the market is over saturated with games like Pikmin.
Obviously it's their choice, but I'm not buying the excuse. They could just say they didn't want to do it and that's that.
Not that I care since I wasn't planning on touching the multiplayer anyway and would prefer couch co-op if I did, but damn.
Like, I don't know, any RTS. That would be very difficult, twenty years ago.
@tristy
That's sort of how I feel about d3, so I can empathize bro.
I used to love Nintendo but they've really been pissing me off lately.
I was the first to go out and buy the GameCube, the Wii, the DS, and the 3DS, but I think I'll pass on WiiU. Ninty just doesn't deserve my love anymore.
you know, like bullets for example.
I don't think bullets are rendered guys. That's just a waste of resources in most (read: all) cases.
rendering is done locally, so it doesn't really matter if things are rendered or not in this instance.
Oh Nintendo, youre always so good at reminding me why I dont give you money any more.
Also bullshit online is incapable of pikmin online. heard of starcraft? you can have 200 units on each team, and you can have 8 teams, thats 1600 units. Now I have never played a game that big, but I have played a game with 200 units vs 200 units. Does pikmin need more than 400 pikmin in it?
