A trailer for No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise has appeared, getting us all pumped up for Travis Touchdown's HD debut. The video, unfortunately, is of low quality, but you get the general idea. There's loads of blood and Japanese voiceovers shouting "It's game time!"
Still no word on a Western publisher since Ubisoft declined, but hopefully we'll hear of one soon. I'm rather glad Ubisoft chose not to publish this game, considering what a piss-poor job it did with the original Wii game. Hopefully it can get into the hands of a publisher that will actually treat it with respect.

Meet the rest of the team
Holy shit, they actually added Japanese voiceovers!
I know this doesn't mean anything to most of us, but that's a pretty huge difference for Japan, considering the Wii version only had English voice acting worldwide.
Hopefully if it gets picked up the publisher actually markets it. Ubisoft didn't even try and it ended in bargain bins literally 3 months after release up here in Canada.
I wanted to see a trailer so that I can see the HD visuals, but the quality of the video made it look exactly like the Wii version. Haha
And HOLY SHIT! IS THAT A NEW BOSS AT THE END THERE!?! Seriously, I don't remember that guy! Am I taking crazy pills here? That's where you usually fight your sister, right? He's NEW, RIGHT?
According to GoNintendo the western voice actors might be tied to Ubisoft. Who ever picks this up might need to redo it entirely or just port it as is.
If the unedited bloody copy comes to the UK it will provide a great supplement for Desperate Struggle! As cool as the black smog effects could be in our edition, they left a heck of a lot of the death cutscenes making absolutely no sense at all. Shinobu gets to keep her missing limb and when Destroy Man is sliced you can just see his unattached nipple-launchers chugging away on the ground.
That's probably the strangest thing I will ever post.
Spoiler much if you haven't beaten the game already. The port does look good and it looks like the gore actually got upped some, but I don't know if I will rebuy this.
Ubisoft was a horrible publisher. It didn't lift a finger to promote the North American version of the game. Thank goodness it sold well enough though to warrant a sequel.
Erm... I don't know. I still think the Wii version will fare better critically. Not to say I don't want this to succeed; if you don't have a Wii, then by all means go get this ASAP, but I would reccomend getting the original otherwise. The motion controls really do make a significant difference.
@ Jonathan Holmes & Quistnix No, I was talking about The Dark Star. I remember now! Thanks for jogging my memory. And yes I fought Henry, and he wasn't easy.
I sincerely hope somebody decides to publish this stateside, 'cause I've put off playing it for this long, and the idea of finally getting to do so on the 360 is appealing.
Not only did the NOT promote the wii version AT ALL. They gave such a shitty bland black and white manual in the game box. If you compare to the japanese comic style manual... it's totally laughable and down right stingy.
Look, I'm surprised that so many people have been interested in this game, yet still don't have a Wii to have played it on long ago. What the fuck, guys?
Personally, I'm interested in how the controls will play out on PS3/360 controllers, and that's about it. If you wanted the game, you had all this time to get it on its definitive platform. Who the fuck doesn't have a Wii???

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
You probably forgot him, because (spoiler) you don't actually fight him. You fight someone much sexier in his place.
That's probably the strangest thing I will ever post.
Also <3 Holly Summers.
Ubisoft is too busy promoting the next 46 games in the Imagine and Petz series' to worry about content like NMH.
The sequel is a couple of months away and the lack of a fully-fleshed out official website is mind-boggling. It will be sent to die once again.

fuck you ubisoft... fuck you.
I cant tell if youre joking or not... but NMH: Heroes' Paradise is a remake of the first game.
