No More Heroes 3 will come if enough people want it photo

No More Heroes 2 is supposed to the conclusion of Travis Touchdown's story, but mental developer Suda 51 has admitted that he has a "responsibility" to create another No More Heroes if enough fans want it. Using Hideo Kojima as an example, Suda said he feels a director returns to a project after getting so many requests.

"I want to conclude Travis Touchdown’s story with this game," he explains. "But No More Heroes 2 is really for fans of the first one, so if I get a lot of response from the fans asking for a No More Heroes 3 -- and as long as Rising Star make a lot of sales -- then it’s possible that we could do a third game.

"I think the reason that Kojima keeps on making Metal Gear Solid games is because he gets so many requests from his fans, and people who want to see more Snake. If people sincerely want to see more Travis Touchdown, I think it’s my responsibility to meet their requests."

I know a man fishing for compliments when I see one. He just wants us to beg ... and I have a feeling we may have to do it. Seriously though, I can almost guarantee we haven't seen the last of Travis. He strikes me as one of those characters destined to do more.

I would be completely shocked if Travis Touchdown's career stopped with NMH2.

Also..if enough people want it, will NMH: Paradise come here?! /rage

NMH is a fantastic game (not sure if you liked it, Jim), but if Suda51 wants us to beg, well shit, why not?

Personally, I want to see home back to "Michigan" (the PS2, uh, horror game), I think he did an interview that he said he wanted to and only Europe had a chance to play it outside Japanese gamers. Also, The Silver Case (the remake he made on the DS is supposedly ready, but he won't release till it's ...finished? I forgot).

Just do your stuff, Suda, 'cause I have no idea what's up your sleeves - but I like it.

Sure he's fishing for a compliment but how many of us wouldn't do the same in his position? If Suda51 wants some begging, I'll go buy some knee pads right now.

Is that what they're calling it these days?

Sales should determine whether or not NMH3 is made, not "want." Gamers want a lot of shit they never wind up buying, renting or even giving a second thought to after hearing it's been confirmed.

Sales sure as hell ain't saying fans want another one.

15 second TV spots would so change that. I guarantee it.

I'll do another one of those, sure!

Know what would be cool though? Multiplayer NMH.

(Note to self: actually buy NMH2...)

I would rather see Travis make a guest appearance in a new Suda51 IP. don't fall into the kojima trap, suda ! that way lies madness.

Letz Shake appears in NMH3 with a body provided by the LB Navy this time.

And Travis is a boss fight (but you don't kill him). And more!

I'd go for it.

The first two games were beyond awesome! I'll buy the third (and fourth and fifth) in a heartbeat. I'll also buy a sequel to Killer 7 if Suda goes that route.

Shame I haven't bought NMH2 yet (I bought Tatsunoko VS Capcom on that Tuesday)but a third NMH would be awesome.

@pedrovay2003
I second that motion. If Snake can get in, why can't Travis be accepted in the 4th installment should Hal Labs make another Smash?

I want it.

Although didn't Suda say NMH2 wouldn't necessarily be the last one, just that Travis' story was over? Wasn't there always the possibility of there being a NMH3 starring someone like Shinobu?

Either way, like a sheep I'll buy anything No More Heroes related. I would LOVE another one with Travis in it, though.

@Sexualchocolate : I've got a good feeling that very well could happen. Suda also said that NMH2 would be the last one on the Wii. So if he did make another, then the PS3 with Move could be a good possibility. If that were to happen, that would also give me hopes of HD re-releases of the first 2 with Move controls. Ooooh yes, I can dream.

(He needs to make Killer 7-2 [The Killening])

Well according to VGChartz No More Heroes 2 has only sold 80,000 copies, which is pretty terrible, especially compared to No More Heroes' 470,000 copies : /

Well, keep in mind that NMH2 has only been out since late January of this year while NMH1 came out January of 2008. For NMH2 to already have nearly 60% of NMH1 is fairly impressive.

I love NMHs, but I'd like to see Suda put out something newer. Or something older. I'd be cool with a HD remake of Michigan, especially since the US never got it.

I'm also still waiting for the Silver Case on DS.

You have my executive permission to make a No More Heroes 3.

Only if you and Kojima make a Snatcher game together.

i totally agree. i mean, think of all the lose ends, and possibilities!
for one, the new advantages of the wii motion plus would work AWESOME with no more heroes 3. Kimmy Howwel ( girl from the second game ) would make an EXCELLENT playable character, and what the hell happened to Shinobu? it's a really lame conclusion for her side of the story.
anyway, I REALLY want to see a nmh3, COME ON, SUDA!!!
