A couple of days ago we pointed you to some No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle scans from Famitsu, and now they have some new screenshots online. In the screens in our gallery below, you'll see that Travis has two swords. Famitsu also says that he has a new dash attack move and and some kind of wrestling finisher move. Sylvia is still hot, and the crazy-looking Nathan Copland and his boom box arms still look something that could only come out of Japan.
"This isn't a battle anymore, says Travis in the trailer, "It's a motherf*cking war!" This trailer is over the top and includes masked wrestlers, crotch shots, afro babes, blushing girls, and explosions. The game play looks tighter and the graphics look much better than the last game. This looks like everything I've hoped for in a sequel. Rock the f*ck on, Suda 51.

Meet the rest of the team

Literally you just described Godhand. Haha I'm actually excited for this: it looks way more entertaining than the 1st one, which I felt was a more boring Godhand with mini-games.
I love Suda 51. As an actual maker of games he tends to be somewhat sub-par but he has so much style that if I ever got within 50 feet of the guy I think I'd go deaf over the sound him being awesome.
I loved how Copland just throws the women at Travis, lol.
Best idea of the fricking century if they could do just that (I don't care about the loss of blood. US only had it anyway. Wouldn't mind it but really just don't care) The game would be perfect. Shorter but better (Grinding is a tedious bastard only added to game design to add to the length)
I actually quite liked the job side-quests in No More Heroes. It's like Yathzee described, it's hilarious to think that a supposed badass has to to yard work to pay for his fights.
If anything I hope they have more variety in the jobs and kill off the assassanation missions. The game is about killing faceless hordes of badguys. Making it so the quickest way to make money was to kill more faceless hordes of badguys made the appeal wear off far faster than it should have.
Just watched the trailer for the 5th time ... looking so good!
I actually liked the side job stuff too. Its just that the world itself, and the system of failing and having to navigate through that city to "restart" what you were working on...pretty unwieldy. I'd dig another round of that stuff, but the tone of the game looks a little more determined and focused.
Man, they're gonna have to fix a LOT to get me to even consider buying this. And I mean a lot. No More Heroes was nowhere near as good as people say it is.
My boyfriend's back and you're gonna be in trouble...
Hey la, hey la my boyfriend's back...
If you see him come, better cut out on the double...
Hey la, hey la my boyfriend's back...
Freaking incredible. Looks like they are taking what made the first one fun and expanding on it, Travis holding 2 blades, hell yes. Loved the dude throwing the afro babes, and of course the obligatory Japenese panty shot as they are flying at you. And that last scene...priceless.
I wonder if he's going to have other weapons than the standard beam katana/dualies? I always thought it'd be somewhat interesting to use boss weapons (imagine having to push around Speed Buster's weapon!) but some of these look doable.

It's so fucked up, I love it.

It looks like a straight up beat em up which the first one should have been.
/hoping for less tasks and more kicking of ass
//still excited
Excellent Trailer!

This game is going to be awesome! The last two seconds of the trailer completely sold me (even more)

You killed my porn vendor - AND NOW YOU MUST DIE.

By the looks of it, the sequel is going to be even cooler and crazier than the first game.
And yeah, if you liked NMH1 play God Hand.
Para de fala portugues , porra !
Desperate Struggle is beyond fapworthy.FAPPITY-FAP-FAP!

What is he doing at 1 03?

Yea, I must get this.
THE DEADLY HO THROW!! D:
This is definitely the final nail removed from my Wii coffin. I have to get another Wii.
this looks a little bit goofy for me, but definitely awesome for the series.
I think the first game is one of the best uses of the wiimote so far :-)
I can't wait, I LOVE IT.
