Ok, I'm going to be serious now. No matter how badly we're being treated in the gaming industry, there's no way I'm moving out of Europe just because of videogames.
We have too many benefits here, such as free health care.

Sooner or later the PAL and NTSC format will die, and games will be developed for HDTV's exclusively.

Honestly if you're planning on moving to the States or something for an improvement over Europe. You won't really get one.

I moved over here a couple of years ago and I do love it (meeting my wife definitely helps) but although things initially seem cheaper, in reality you just pay for everything in a different place (rather than just through your tax I mean).

Healthcare, dentistry, Rubbish collection, Storm water (wha? weird little bills in the post for like $3, it's so weird) , TV (have to have cable cos terrestrial doesn't exist if your in a small town like me + it's the only way to get internet for a reasonable price) + obviously the prices you see never have tax added in...

So quality of life wise, you'll honestly be about the same.
If it's a political thing then that's different.

And yeah, going to a game shop here you do have a much better selection than in the UK (although not with old-school Shmups on ps2! I wish we got the budget "Xplosive" releases of Psyvariar/Gunbird/Strikers 1945 etc here!) so that has been nice.

And to thinl that the PS3 outsells the 360 here. My european brothers are really morons. :(

In my case it's about my ps3 gathering dust because the games are fucking expensive here (believe or not MGS4 will be $120+ where I live), plus we don't have PSN (in Hungary), and now this. Yes, I do have a PS3 and I'm still whining about how Sony treats us here in EU.

Considering Sony's (arguably) best games come out Europe, the ones that get so hyped up it's untrue, and Sony's Playstation Day was held in Europe, I'm wondering why SONY FUCKING HATES EUROPE. Esepcially since they're bragging that the PS3 is now outselling the 360 over here, or so I'm led to believe today.
