The other day, it was suggested in Games TM magazine that the indie gaming crowd's (ie, Rev Anthony's) latest darling, Audiosurf, would be coming to Xbox Live Arcade. This was certainly a good thing -- too good, in fact, to be real. Sorry, but it was a case of crossed wires -- Audiosurf isn't coming to XBLA.
“Must have been a miscommunication," stated the game's creator, Dylan Fitterer. "I never said Audiosurf was coming to XBLA."
That's a shame. I really wanted to try Audiosurf, but my computer is a shambling wreck of misery and unrealistic desire, so I can't really play any PC games for the moment. I was hoping I'd be able to get my hands on this for the 360, but I guess not.
Ah well, easy come, easy go?

Eh, I probably wouldn't have bought it anyway because I very rarely buy XBLA games.
In the meantime though ... everything sucks. :-(

It's from a comedy short series. I literally fell over the first time I saw this, it's called Simon & Derek.

I haven't played it with the 360 controller, but I've heard it isn't half bad.
Because this game would have to be able to access music stored on the system, I guess the devs would need MS's involvement.
