Fanboys will have a field day with Amazon's public Top 25 video game sales list, which is completely overrun by Nintendo products. Among the usual suspects from the Wii camp is one strange surprise -- the SUPER NINTENDO is outselling the Playstation 2 and 3.  Wow.

Any crackpot theories on this?  The only one I can offer is that people are getting sick of waiting for the Virtual Console's uber-slow rollout schedule and have taken matters into their own hands. Either that or they just found out that the SNES can actually be modded to play Gears of War, as demonstrated in this secret video.

This is by no means a benchmark of doom so you won't see Phil Harrison hanging from gallows, but it is a notable and humorous day in number-crunching nonetheless. Oh Sony, I'm not sure at what point it became cool to laugh at your expense but we're hoping you pull a Count of Monte Cristo at GDC. (Read: hand over the Killzone screenshots already)
