Makeover for Animal Crossing: New Leaf

To celebrate the release of 3DS game Animal Crossing: New Leaf Nintendo will be transforming the Nintendo World store into the Animal Crossing town. How amazing is that? I mean, will Mr. Resetti be there? Fruit just laying around on the store floor?

Nintendo tells us that those that visit can collect Animal Crossing buttons for completing activities inspired by the game. This means you'll be digging for  fossils and catching bugs in the store. Meanwhile, the second floor will have a DJ spinning music. It would be crazy if it was actually K. K. Slider doing the DJ work.

The best part is that the game and thew new special-edition Animal Crossing 3DS XL will be available in limited quantities a day early. The first to purchase either will get an Animal Crossing: New Leaf 3DS skin.

This all goes down on Jun 8th at 9am at Nintendo World, located at 10 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. If you go, please take pictures!

Hey, have you heard my Animal Crossing cover where I sing like K. K. Slider?
