Breaking down its own performance during last week -- November 22 through Nov. 28 -- Nintendo says it sold 1.5 million gaming systems during the craziest of crazy shopping periods. That's estimated to be 550,000+ Wii consoles and 1,000,000+ DS and DSi handhelds.
Or in mind-boggling, we-effin'-print-money lingo, Nintendo sold more than 2.5 videogame systems every second during Thanksgiving week. Go ahead, blink. While you were wasting your tragic life doing that, hundreds of dollars were spent on Nintendo systems. You'll never be this successful.
Your mother and I aren't mad, we're just disappointed is all.

I still don't have a Wii~
Anywho, I'm sure someone will stroll in shortly to talk about how much dust their Wii is collecting or something of that nature. You know, because that totally will prove Nintendo isn't still printing money and all.
Yeah, but the DS numbers are up from last year, so it all balance's out in the end for Nintendo. Microsoft is the big loser this year, because they failed to even give any concrete numbers yet, so you know it must be bad if they're not already bragging about them. Because last year they we're the first out of the gates, boasting about how they outsold the PS3 2:1 even though Nintendo still beat them both, so they we're and still are only fighter over 2nd place!
