the 3DS pretty much just slaughtered the Vita for me. I really have nothing left I want to play on it as of yet. So to that, i say kudos Nintendo.

this, well aside from DJ Max Technika and Little King Story. though i'm still bummed by the fact that Pentavision scrapped already finished DJ Max Technika DS(they planned to port existing code to 3DS with enchanced graphics and new features) for Vita.

(admittedly I always put Nintendo systems high on my priority list, but this is the first time I've held little to no interest in a competing system)

Still so pissed that this, and Monster Hunter 4 are apparently 3ds titles.
One of my favorite series of all time, and I just can't catch a break with it in america.
I want a proper Hd sequel!
Best option I've got for that is the psp hd thing, and that hasn't even been confirmed state side!

I've always figured that Nintendo would get Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter went to the PSP because it was cheaper to develop for, as soon as I saw the Vita I knew they'd side with Nintendo.

I mean yeah monster hunter im sure will be great but as an owner of the 3DS i might not be one of its biggest complainers but im not blind to its faults either...
They announced an ok lineup thats it really nothing more...nothing less...

Unless I can trade my 3DS for a remodeled 3DS with 2 analogs for a reasonable price, I'll prefer both of these games on the Vita. Hell at this point I don't even want to get excited until they announce a release date here in the states. I've spent close to 1000 hours on this series so it's hard not to get hyped.
If Monster Hunter 4 were a 3DS exclusive Nintendo would have said so. The Vita will still be getting it. While I'm a big MH fanatic, 3 was a disappointment (not because it was on the Wii but because the developers went backwards on some of the things they addressed on the PSP games), so a Tri G isn't going to make me rush out and buy a 3DS like MH did with the PSP.
I've been keen to wait on games to come out before I buy new hardware, and that will be the case for the Vita. In a few years it'll be cheaper and there will be more games I want to play (and there will be a MH4). And then I'll get one. The 3DS is just a kick to the balls to everyone that bought a DS, where at least Sony seems to have learned from their arrogance and ignorance with the PSP and PS3.

All this MonHun news has me TOTALLY PUMPED. Now if only they'd confirm that they're bringing it all to the U.S....
@Vanor But the reason why Tri didn't do as well as the psp games was because it was on a home console. This game will be a sure fire hit in Japan.
I hear a lot about Monster Hunter but I have never played the game, I know this is an objective question to ask but "Is it good?"
@Part-Man-Part-Awesome If you can get past the tutorial quests and effectively learn the strengths of each weapon type, bringing the proper equipment in to quests, and learning the attack patterns of the monsters, it's really fun. That, and multiplayer is where the game really shines.
