According to my Doctor Who calendar, the time of year where children are encouraged to support obesity by leaving cookies out for a fat burglar who magically fits in chimneys is almost upon us. I'm preparing by trying to make excuses so I don't have to spend too much time with my family and loved ones and I'll probably be buying cheap tat from someone's car boot. I'm merry, oh so bloody merry. The festive folks over at Nintendo are trying to get into the Christmas spirit with about the same amount of enthusiasm.

On December 4 Nintendo will be offering new bundles for you to put in stockings, wrap up in hideous wrapping paper and give to someone you feel a small amount of affection for. Or you can just get them for yourself, if that's your thing. The new bundles include a pink 3DS, because girls celebrate Christmas too, and either Nintendogs + Cats: French Bulldog and New Friends or Nintendogs + Cats: Toy Poodle and New Friends. The MSRP for the new bundles is $169.99 which is the same price as the standard 3DS, which isn't bad at all. And remember, kids, when you get sick of looking after your virtual pet after Christmas, don't flush it down the toilet.

When the Nintendo DS game nintendogs was first released, it became an easy target for some gamers. The dog ownership simulation title was easy to make fun of, with some saying that it wasn't really much of a game at all. Eyeb...more

Review in Progress: Hearthstone: Curse of Naxxramas

When many Warcraft fans hear the name Naxxramas, it conjures up memories of late nights and pizza, while taking on the tough-as-nails raid in World of Warcraft (or as I know it, Naxx). It was one of the mo...more

Review: Sokobond

Chemistry is governed by a definite set of rules. Opposite charges attract, like dissolves like, matter is always conserved. There are more rules than just those, but one of the great things about the study of matter and its ...more

Review: The Walking Dead Season 2: Amid the Ruins

The last episode of The Walking Dead was probably my favorite one yet -- and that's including all of Lee's tale from the first season. Clem has made the switch from tough to full-on badass depending on your choices, and ...more
