Sadly, no. Mario's been dethroned by platformers like Rayman Origins and Super Meat Boy. At least to me. I'm sure it will be fun but nothing I'm getting excited for.
NintendoLand as a full price game instead of a bundle is insane. Might sell better than Steel Diver did though.

Remember guys that Japan is different from here in the US. WiiSports wasn't a pack-in title over there either, and their 3DS XL's didn't even come with AC Adapters. Don't panic yet.
Australian stores have Wii U games listed at an estimated RRP of $108. I know this is an estimate but... sigh
It's disappointing that Land isn't a pack-in. I sort of want to play it, but I don't want to pay $40-$60 for it.
wait a moment, so Nintendo will still charge only 40-50$ for their retail products cause these are the standard prices of their Wii games while ps3/360 games cost typically 8000yen.

Wii U standard prices are going to be $60. With Nintndo now getting into HD development costs, it won' be able to avoid keeping costs at $50 for the average game anymore. Of course, there will be some exceptions.
I didn't expect Nintendo Land to be a pack-in deal despite its similarities to Wii Sports. Of course, this the official news has just for Japan. As we all know, Japan didn't get Wii Sports bundled with the Wii so you Nintendo may have a different plan for the Wii U overseas.

No way I'm buying this at launch I'll wait for Price cut + big games libary, like I'm waiting with Vita. It worked with PS3 and 3DS.

U costs the same as Wii game and that's a HUGE title in terms of sales. given Nintendo's statements in the past and general lack of price-hike in terms of 3DS games made by Nintendo(at least in my country where most 3DS games still are priced at 35euros) i doubt they will be releasing 60$ titles - at least not all of them. just like they released a lot of budget title. Nintendo is not Sony - when Sony moved to ps3 EVERY title they released was full priced even if they were planned as budget games or looked like ones.

high profile games like Zelda(especially after all the information released about the next console game being so friggin huge), main Super Mario, Metroid, Pikmin 3, Super Smash Bros 4 - 60$

Interesting they gave different price points for these titles, does that mean Nintendo will set different prices for stuff like new IPs, mini games compilations and solid AAA franchises with a following?
Aside from the usual Sofik being wrong, there is another issue here.
Nintendo had the oppurtuntiy to kickstart new retail games next gen being like $20, which would make everyone by tons more and make buying new way more reasonable than used.
But of course, no one wants to be the first to do it. Imagine if when Microsoft started this gen they set the prices to $19.99 rather than $59.99, Sony and Ninty would have had to do the same, and games would sell way more copies.

right now it seems that most of Nintendo games will remain at 50$ or less on Wii U. and how is comparison to Sony who priced their shitty Move games at 40$(and standard games at 60$) a pop regardless of their quality or content, wrong? Sony as a company is greedy as fuck and you honestly can't deny that if you directly compare many of those games(Killzone 3, LBP2, Move games, Motorstorm 3 being prime examples of overcharging for content) to competition.
