Nintendo partners with DreamWorks for 3DS videos

Nintendo has signed a deal with DreamWorks Animation to bring their videos to the 3DS...in stunning 3D.

Kicking this partnership off will be a couple of Halloween-themed animated shorts, the first of which, a "Monsters vs. Aliens" video, is available on your 3DS today. Later this month we'll see a Shrek video hit the service.

Cnet says that other content providers have signed on for 3DS video content, including 3net (a joint venture between Discovery Communications, Sony, and IMAX) and the Blue Man Group.

Are you excited about 3DS video distribution yet?
