If you haven't already bought a Nintendo DS, chances are it's not because of the colors its available in. Regardless, today Nintendo has revealed a new color scheme for the mega-popular handheld, Cobalt/Black.
Nintendo describes the unit's color scheme "like a black T-shirt with a splash of color," and quite honestly, I have no idea what in the Hell they're talking about. Other than aesthetically, there will be absolutely nothing different about the new Cobalt/Black DS -- is still weights 218 grams, and one of its hinges may still crack.
Just in time for Valentine's Day, the Cobalt/Black Nintendo DS will hit stores on February 10. As Nintendo says, "Now there's a Nintendo DS color to compliment any outfit." Paris Hilton will be thrilled.

there's a homebrew app that fixes stuck pixels but its no silver bullet. DiagnoSe is the name I think. might be worth a try
I've had my fat DS since launch though, and I've had no desire to "upgrade" to the DS lite.
I don't really like the color of my Phourglass DS (it's kinda ugly). I kinda wish I had gotten the onyx/crimson one w/ Brain Training.
I like the blue though. It's sparkly.
Will this mean that there will be actual DS units for purchase in stores?!
@heretic: I'd have to have both DSes at the same time in order to transfer the wifi settings w/o resetting all my friend codes... f%$@ it, I'll probably do that anyway.
