The absolute highlight of this week is The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave (eShop, $9.99). In a move no one expected, a demo was released last week, and this wacky AR Japanese eShop game is now available in North America. You want a batshit insane trailer? Here, have a batshit insane trailer if you're not sold yet.
If wacky games aren't your thing, there's also Quarth (3DS VC, $2.99, no, not Qarth), which some of you may remember on Game Boy, and Hitori by Nikoli (eShop, $4.99), which is essentially a sudoku game. On the non-eShop front, there's Kart Krashers (DSiWare, 500 Points), and Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers (Wii VC 900 Points).
In short, it's a great day for people who love quirky games -- a very mediocre day for everyone else.
