On the Wii U this week you can grab Gradius and Cocoto Magic Circus 2. That's it. Seriously, that's it! Yet again, Super Mario Bros. 3 is missing. It's not a lost cause though, as Gradius may not be the best classic shoot 'em up out there, but it's still pretty solid, and I'd recommend it to any shmup fan.

The 3DS side is a bit more interesting with the introduction of Chibi-Robo! Photo Finder. This original game is a camera-centric hidden object game, and was revealed late last year. It kind of came out of nowhere but it may interest a few of you who are looking for a quirky title to play.

On the 3DS eShop there's also Jump Trials Supreme (demo), and Aqua Moto Racing 3D, Darts Up 3D, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan, and Code of Princess all have discounts.

If you missed last week's installment, here it is.

As for what I'm getting, I think I'm passing this week. I do have a marathon planned with last week's Mega Man X2 release though!

Europe gets Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire on Wii U this week

A new pinball game out of Nintendo sure would be delightful. The time is right (because the time is always right for well-made pinball spinoff games). I don't see that happening anytime soon, granted, but there's always Pok&e...more

Mighty Gunvolt's DLC levels are worth the few bucks they cost

Mighty Gunvolt has just acquired some DLC and it's cheap, ringing in at $2.99. So what do you get? Four stages, and subsequently, four boss battles. That's it. There's no fanfare for the new levels or new story -- they'...more
