Nintendo DLC: Water Warfare, fishing, Opa-Opa's tears, more photo

Today, the perfect game for the summer, Water Warfare (1-8 players, 800 Wii Points), hits WiiWare. Hudson’s first-person water-gun shooter (yes, let’s call it an "FPWS") features single-player missions, two-player split-screen, and an eight-player multiplayer mode using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Instead of splattering your enemies, why not just splash them? Right? Right.

Also perfect for the summer is Natsume’s Wiiware title, Reel Fishing Challenge (1 player, 500 Wii Points) which – as you’d expect – is a fishing game. Except you don’t play for sport or for dinner, you play for fun and you don’t have to leave the house. Agetec brings a board game to WiiWare all fancy-like with Silver Star Reversi (1-2, 500 Wii Points). While it may be a competent game, there’s not that much to say about it. Even the official description of the game resorts to talking about options like adjusting the sound effects and music. Seriously.

Hope you’re finished with the first Fantasy Zone, because here comes Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa (Sega Master System, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) to the Virtual Console. You don’t want to make Opa-Opa cry, do you? So buy this.

And finally, we come to DSiWare. Yesterday, I decided to redeem on a 2000 Nintendo Point card on my DSi, hoping I had made the right choice. Well, today’s title – Hudson’s Sudoku Master (1 player, 500 Nintendo DSi Points) – isn’t really doing it for me. I mean, we can play Sudoku on Brain Age! I like Sudoku as much We’ve been training our brains for minutes a day for three years now, Hudson. You can’t fool us.

Actually, I might take that Sudoku. I hate having to swap carts and I have exactly 500 points...
