It’s Monday and that means more stuff is hitting Nintendo’s various digital distribution services. Prepare for the below. Looking forward to looking backward again this week on WiiWare with the release ARKANOID Plus (600 Wii Points). Handled by Taito, this is promised to be an updated version of the classic arcade title. With a new VS and Time Attack mode, who are we to argue with such a bold statement. On an unrelated note, DRiift Mania (800 Wii Points) is happening on WiiWare as well. DSiWare will see two new titles as well. The first of which is Art Academy: Second Semester (800 DSi Points). According to the official release, it has a “larger set of tools and in-depth lessons designed to encourage” more “complex artwork.” The second release is Dragon Quest: Wars (500 DSi bones), a strategy title featuring monsters from the series. On a final note, Altered Beast (1000 Wii Points) is happening on Virtual Console. You’ll have to excuse us now. We have an evil scheme to stop … as a werewolf-dragon.
