Yes, you read that right. DSiWare, Nintendo's latest and most disappointing online service, has released its second clock in just a matter of weeks, following up on the ridiculous Animal Crossing clock with Photo Clock (Nintendo, 1 player, 200 Nintendo DSi Points). In Photo Clock you get to put a clock face over the photographs you have taken with your DSi camera. Why you'd want to do that, nobody knows, but it's surely better than American Popstar: Road to Celebrity (Gameloft, 1-4 players, 800 Nintendo DSi Points) which also released today and has a title that says enough.
WiiWare provides a better prospect with BUBBLE BOBBLE Plus! (TAITO, 1-4 players, Rated E for Everyone – Comic Mischief, 600 Wii Points) and ADVENTURE ISLAND The Beginning (Hudson Entertainment, 1-2 players, Rated E for Everyone – Cartoon Violence and Comic Mischief, 800 Wii Points). Both these old school games come with a fresh coat of paint and should amuse any retroheads out there.
Finally, the Virtual Console brings us Clay Fighter (Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, Rated T for Teen – Comic Mischief and Mild Cartoon Violence, 800 Wii Points), everybody's favorite clay-themed fighting game.
Seriously though ... another clock.
Also, another clock.
then you would have a c(l)ock!
Well we're on destructoid, so of course no one focuses on the positive, just the negative when it comes to Nintendo. This is one of the best weeks for WiiWare in awhile, and next week Final Fantasy 4 The After Years is coming out.
So next week will be really good as well, but no one cares about that, just the stupid fact that there's two clock apps on the DSiWare. Ask yourelf this, how many useless multiple apps are on the iPhone, and do you can about them?
I agree! Clock shcmock. I'm jumping on Adventure Island.
And the DSiWare shop sounds like a disappointment too!
But thumbs up to Bubblebobble; I did like the re-make for the Gameboy SP <3
