We're only a week away from PAX! For many of us, the trip is even closer than that. Can you feel the excitement in the air? No? Perhaps Nintendo's kick-ass line-up of games will help pump you up.
Booth #352 is where you'll be able to lovingly embrace Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Metroid: Other M, NBA Jam, GoldenEye 007, and an all-new physics-based puzzler for WiiWare named Fluidity. What's more, Dragon Quest IX players can grab the "Orgodemir" map while they're at the show.
For those going to PAX, I'll be the guy freaking out over DKC.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

WHERE THE F IS THE SKYWARD SWORD?
Seriously though, wtf?
Hell, they're supposed to be showing that at FanExpo in Toronto this weekend, and it's as much a sci-fi/anime convention than a gaming one!

Retro Studios is working its magic on bringing a new but familiar Donkey Kong game with proper local co-op support. We'll see if it has what it takes to compete against the quality and fun factor of the original titles by Rare.
I generally do not care for EA's titles especially in the sports genre. However, NBA Jam is the only exception due to its arcade-style gameplay. Like DKC Returns, its going to have the nostalgia factor but its going to offer compelling new content.
Kirby's Epic Yarn looks adorable as hell. Developer Good Feel has proven that it can craft great looking 2D visuals but I hope there's a sense of challenge in the gameplay department. It's nice to see Kirby return to the platformer genre on the home console.
The new Golden Eye 007 looks like a lot of fun but I'm still a bit skeptical given how this is a re-imagined version and not a simple remake. We'll see how well developer Eurocom is up to the challenge. It could be the first and best AAA exclusive FPS on the Wii. Lord knows it doesn't have much in the way of competition.
Fluidity sounds like it may just be another Art Style game.It does appear to be in the same genre as World of Goo.
EVACUATE THE DANCEFLOOR!... JIM STERLING WANTS TO DANCE! (8)
Curious what the lines will be like...haven't been to a gaming convention since Nintendo World Championship, back in the day. At that time I got to play SMB3 before it was released...would be neat to try some other classic nintendo properties before they're released. I just wish one of them was a proper sequel to SMW.
