There's not much to go off here, but from what we can see, this N64 emulator looks like it's shaping up to be solid.
The strangely named 3G4 was developed by a 14-year-old, believe it or not. I don't know what mojo this teen is packing, but Super Mario 64 looks to be running nicely in the above video. We hear that the emulator runs pretty great so far. There are issues like duplicate button registers, delay of presses, and crashes when heavy gameplay occurs, but those are being looked into.
This certainly looks to be running better than any of the early 3D console emus I've seen.
[thanks, Steve]
BONUS: Listen for the strange mouth noise at the end of the video.

How about they get this running on more than just Apple's platform. I can't wait for Android apps to take off in popularity. Google phones are so much nicer.
@Nitex
It's not drawing the game per se, it's pretending that every single piece of code is being executed on a N64, which is a HUGE processing hurdle both to do and to have a piece of hardware fast enough to do it. Albeit for the N64 nowadays, the hardware hurdle might not be as big, but try emulating a PS2 game on anything other than a dual core 3Ghz machine and it'll politely tell you "NO."
I think we need to bring more ideas for this purpose. Involvement of young people can be handy in this regard. I am happy to find a good post here. Thank you
happy birthday greetings
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I'd love to see him try and get Perfect Dark working on the thing.
Of course, I'm just bitter that I'm 19 and have never achieved anything anywhere near as awesome.

As in the kid can't time button presses with the video he loaded on his iPhone....
Neat.
I'm sorry but Mario makes certain movements before he even inputs them.
Your right, the game doesn't even start at the title screen.
