Tecmo Koei is planning a range of downloadable content for Ninja Gaiden 3. That's hardly news for any sufficiently large game these days, but here's something to sweeten the deal -- the DLC's going to be free.

The content will be focused on expanding Ryu's impressive arsenal of sharp and pointy things. A claw and a scythe have been referenced already.

So far, this content has not been confirmed outside of Japan, but hopefully it makes its way here. Free DLC is always nice!
