ok why this is getting western release and DS version won't?
ps3 version is a spin-off of DS game FOR GOD'S SAKE.
having already played DS game(which i imported earlier) and hearing about only ps3 spin-off being translated hurts even more considering how magical and brilliant original is. i'm not fluent in japanese but from the bits and pieces i've understood, it was amazing.
Nintendo should release it on DS since there's not many games coming to this system and it's giant userbase that is still buying new games or Level-5 should make 3DS version and re-release it that way.

Yeah, hilarious. Hilarious how easy it is to stereotype the whole 50 mln userbase. As if games like Ni No Kuni were selling better than Call of Duties or Killzones on the PS3.
We also play Japanese games, and they also sell. Maybe not better than on the ps3, but they do.
Ni No Kuni simply won't be released on Xbox because it's a game by level5, that's all. I can't recall a single big title (meaning, not handheld title) that was made by Level 5 and not for Sony console.
